Hey, I'm Chad. I make complicated tech less complicated.
I come from a background in IT troubleshooting and networking, so I've spent a lot of time figuring out why technology isn't doing what it's supposed to do.
These days, I also build applications and automations using Claude and Claude Code.
And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that a tool can be incredibly powerful and still be unnecessarily confusing.
That's a big part of why I created Desk Daemon.
I want to help people understand what Claude can actually do, get comfortable trying Claude Code, and make better decisions about the growing pile of AI tools competing for their attention.
I'll share things I've built, mistakes I've made, tools I use, and others I'm still investigating.
Sometimes the answer is that a shiny new tool is useful.
Sometimes it's that you really don't need another one.
Either way, I'll explain why.
And when I'm not talking about AI, you'll probably catch the occasional desk setup update, gaming reference, or other bit of everyday tech life.
Think of Desk Daemon as your tech friend who's already spent a few hours troubleshooting something and is happy to save you the headache.
