Meet Chad

Your friendly neighborhood tech nerd.

I'm Chad. My background is in IT troubleshooting and networking, and these days I spend a lot of time building apps, experimenting with Claude Code, and figuring out which AI tools actually deserve a spot in my workflow.

I love technology, but I don't think you should need a computer science degree—or a dozen browser tabs—to understand it.

Desk Daemon is where I share what I've learned, what I'm testing, what I'd recommend, and what I'd probably skip.

Expect practical explanations, honest opinions, and the occasional nerd joke.

Desk setup

The desk behind the daemon.

When I'm not figuring out what Claude is doing, there's a pretty good chance I'm at my desk tinkering with something.

I also share the work-from-home gear I use, the upgrades I'd actually recommend, and the purchases that seemed like a better idea at the time.

Useful equipment, honest opinions, and no pretending every accessory changed my life.

We're figuring this out together.

You don't need to know how to code to start learning this stuff.

Ask questions, experiment, share what works, and tell me when something doesn't.

That's part of the fun.
